Recent Drawings
Here's some of the doodles I found as I sorted through the massive pile of drawings on the side of my desk. I pretty much draw whenever I'm sitting down (watching movies, listening to music, operating heavy machinery) so my room is full of bits of paper and cardboard covered in scribbles and I often find drawings I don't remember doing. Here's some of my findings from the floor of my bedroom and the folder entitled "stuff" on my hard drive;

Pre Project
The story is set within a prison in the middle of the Texas desert.
The Warden
The Warden is an extremely right-wing, racist, disciplinarian, Texan who hates the prisoners and sees them as animals. Below is a drawing of his office;
The prison therapist is the opposite of the warden, he believes that every prisoner is really a kind person underneath their tough exterior and tries to rehabilitate them. He's very naive a little bit too forgiving.
The Warden's wife is an ageing cougar who's constantly drunk. She's the only women for miles so she's very lonely and feels like her and the warden have grown apart, as a result she's constantly trying to have affairs with the prisoners (although they never welcome her advances).
The Prisoners
Wall Street Prisoner
I had the idea for this video about 15 minutes before the presentation so I quickly threw it together in adobe premiere (hence why it's not edited very well).

Exeter Ident Project
I recently did a work on Alex Watkins' entry for the Exeter Animation Festival ident competition. We were given a couple of images by an illustrator and we had to come up with an idea for a short animation involving the illustrations which could be shown before each film at the festival. I'm not entering the contest because I'm buy with other projects so I probably won't be doing anything else on this animation.
The illustrator had drawn a load of characters racing but there he had only drawn them from one angle so I drew some character turn arounds so that they could be modelled in 3D.
Alex Watkins then sent me the animation beats and some instructions for the storyboards which I drew;
